STAVIAN INDUSTRIAL METAL SUPPORTS THE COMMERCIAL LAUNCH OF VIETNAM’S FIRST PRIMARY ALUMINUM INGOTS

On the morning of July 26, 2026, in Lam Dong Province, Stavian Industrial Metal’s Board of Directors attended the Launch Ceremony of Vietnam’s First Primary Aluminum Ingots at the Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant, organized by Tran Hong Quan Metallurgy Co., Ltd. As the company receiving the first batch of aluminum ingots from the production line, Stavian Industrial Metal will serve as the official distributor of the product to the market.

As one of the pioneering enterprises to receive the first shipment of aluminum ingots, Stavian Industrial Metal will distribute the products to the market, contributing to the commercialization of “Made in Vietnam” primary aluminum. The ceremony was attended by leaders of the Party and the Government, representatives of ministries, central and local authorities, together with numerous enterprises operating across Vietnam’s industrial and metals sectors.

The receipt of the first shipment of aluminum ingots not only marks the beginning of the commercial circulation of domestically produced primary aluminum but also contributes to the gradual establishment of a domestic aluminum supply chain, strengthening raw material self-sufficiency and enhancing value creation for Vietnam’s manufacturing and processing industries.

The Dak Nong Aluminum Electrolysis Plant is Vietnam’s first aluminum smelting project, with a production capacity of 450,000 metric tons per year. The successful production of the country’s first primary aluminum ingots marks a significant milestone in completing Vietnam’s bauxite–alumina–primary aluminum value chain. This achievement not only enhances the efficient utilization of domestic mineral resources and strengthens the country’s supply autonomy but also establishes a solid foundation for Vietnam’s aluminum industry to integrate more deeply into regional and global supply chains./.
