CHAIRMAN OF STAVIAN INDUSTRIAL METAL OFFICIALLY ELECTED TO THE 6TH TERM EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE VIETNAM STEEL ASSOCIATION

On May 30, 2025, the 6th Term Congress (2025 – 2030) of the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) was successfully held at the 37 Hung Vuong Convention Center in Hanoi.

With a spirit of professionalism and collaboration, the Congress completed the election of the VSA Executive Committee for the 6th term (2025 – 2030), comprising 18 members. Mr. Nghiem Xuan Da was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Steel Association.

At the Congress, Mr. David Nguyen – Vice Chairman of Stavian Group and Chairman of Stavian Industrial Metal was officially elected as a member of the VSA Executive Committee for the 6th term. This marks a significant milestone, reflecting the Steel industry community’s recognition of Mr. David’s leadership capabilities and strategic vision, while reaffirming the growing role of Stavian Industrial Metal within the Steel industry ecosystem in Vietnam.

This year’s Congress took place against the backdrop of Vietnam’s substantial economic transformation toward sustainable growth. Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, issued by the Political Bureau on May 4th, 2025, emphasized the private sector’s pivotal role in driving national economic development. For the Steel industry – a foundational sector – this presents a critical opportunity for private enterprises like Stavian Industrial Metal to innovate, enhance technological capacity, and improve competitiveness.

Speaking at the event, Mr. David Nguyen affirmed Stavian Industrial Metal’s commitment to leveraging our resources, global network, and international connectivity to make meaningful contributions to the long-term development of Vietnam’s Steel industry, pursuing the vision of building a modern, resilient, and globally integrated steel sector./.
