STAVIAN INDUSTRIAL METAL AND GREAT EAST STEEL STRENGTHEN COMPREHENSIVE STRATEGIC COOPERATION

On November 5, 2025, at Stavian Group Headquarters (Hanoi), Stavian Industrial Metal Joint Stock Company (“Stavian Industrial Metal”) and Great East Steel Company Limited (“Great East Steel”) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation, marking the beginning of a robust partnership between two leading enterprises in Vietnam’s industrial metals and steel manufacturing sectors.

The signing ceremony represents a significant milestone in Stavian Industrial Metal’s strategy to expand its industrial metal value chain, reaffirming its pioneering role in promoting a green and sustainable metal supply chain, while enhancing its global trade and distribution capabilities.

Stavian Industrial Metal is a member of Stavian Group – a large-scale multinational industrial, technology and trading corporation with an ecosystem of over 20,000 customers and partners across 100+ countries, operating 10 factories, 40 logistics hubs and 30 global branches, with 2024 revenue nearing USD 3 billion. Great East Steel is a reputable enterprise specializing in high-quality steel production, operating the VNPOL Plant with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons. The company’s operations cover pickling, cold rolling, galvanizing and color coating, with products distributed widely across Vietnam and exported to European markets. Great East Steel aims to become a leading steel coil brand in Vietnam and a trusted international partner.

Under the agreement, Stavian Industrial Metal will supply Great East Steel with metal raw materials sourced from reputable global producers, helping optimize product quality and production costs while also offtaking and distributing Great East Steel’s output domestically and internationally through Stavian Group’s global network. Both parties also agreed to explore opportunities to establish joint ventures or representative offices in key markets such as the Middle East, Europe and Australia, and to collaborate in R&D, production equipment investment, aluminum recycling, green energy and other related sectors.

The strategic cooperation between Stavian Industrial Metal and Great East Steel is expected to generate strong synergies within the steel supply chain, foster technological innovation, advance eco-friendly production and enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in the global market./.
