Job Description
- Receive orders, plan purchases, communicate, and search for suppliers
- Source domestic and international products to ensure accuracy
- Execute purchasing plans to ensure timely and sufficient product supply
- Monitor incoming shipments, handle arising issues, work with logistic partners to check vessel schedules, update incoming shipment progress to team members
- Follow proper import procedures according to government regulations and company plans
- Source, evaluate, select potential suppliers, negotiate, and sign supply contracts, purchase agreements
- Have extensive experience in sourcing and developing product supply
- Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors
Job Requirements
Skills required for the position:
- Experience in purchasing, international sourcing
- Negotiation skills, strong communication, excellent analytical skills
- Proficient in using specialized tools and software
- Teamwork, work planning skills
- University degree in economics, foreign trade
- Good communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English or Chinese
Work Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Candidates with experience in industrial metal products are preferred
- Able to travel and work under high intensity
Personal qualities:
- Quick and creative
- Honest, humble, disciplined, dedicated, and meticulous.
- Able to handle high-pressure work environments.
